This is the best-selling member of our jelly/jam family. The recipe was perfected in time for Valentine’s Day ’99, thus its name also denotes its taste temperature. Made with fresh jalapeno, habanero, Serrano and sweet bell peppers, Red Hot Lover is sweet, tart and has a spicy “bite”. It is a must for the next time you prepare chicken or beef fajitas (glaze the meat while grilling or do like we do: just heap a tablespoon on the tortilla!), use it as a sauce for Chinese egg rolls, pour it over cream cheese and serve as a spread with crackers, wrap and bake it with brie cheese in phyllo dough or puff pastry.
